About Us
Incluhair was born from family, community, and a very real gap that needed filling.
We’re a blended family who now live in Ashtead, Surrey. Like many families, settling into a new area meant finding new routines – schools, shops, and somewhere reliable to get a haircut for everyone in the household. That’s when we realised something important was missing.
As a multicultural family with four children – two daughters and two sons – hair isn’t “one size fits all”.
Our wife and mum is Black, our husband and dad is White, and our household reflects a mix of ages, textures, styles, and identities. When it came to haircuts for our children, particularly our boys, we struggled to find a local barbershop that confidently catered for Black hair while also being a welcoming space for the whole family.
Instead, we found ourselves travelling to Langley or Croydon just for a haircut – something that felt frustrating, impractical, and unnecessary in 2026.
So rather than accept that this was “just the way it is”, we asked a different question:
Why shouldn’t Sutton have a barbershop where people of all ages and all races feel understood, welcome, and confident walking out the door?
Why not have a specialist barber, where each barber specialises in a specific hair type for inclusivity, where all hair types are catered for under the same roof.
These questions became InclUhair.
Incluhair is built on the belief that great barbering is about skill, understanding, and respect for every client who sits in the chair. We are a barbershop for children, young people, adults, and elders, and for every background, culture, and hair type. Whether it’s straight, curly, coiled, textured, faded or styled, every head is treated with the same care and professionalism.
We’ve created a space where:
- Families can come to one barbershop for everyone
- No one feels out of place or overlooked
- Black hair, White hair, mixed heritage hair, and everything in between is barbered properly
- Clients don’t have to explain themselves or their hair
- Community comes first
